Eastwell farm was a new adventure for the McDowell family. We started out in March 2020 after spending months trying to get a small piece of land, finally we found a little piece of heaven and so Eastwell farm was go.
We have the aim for being a sustainable destination by reducing are carbon footprint and carrying out a continuous plan for environmental improvement.
This year we have planted 400 native species trees and created a wildlife corridor from the farm to the Glenview River.
We have opened our new forest trails with a picnic area in the forest surroundings.
We have also introduced pygmy goats and Valais Black nose sheep which go down a storm with the little ones and bigger ones alike.
We now offer meet & greets, and alpaca trekking and special events on the farm or with a visit to you.
